Hikaru is a very quiet character around those she doesn't know, tending to keep her head down and never speak out about anything. She tends to bottle up her emotions and is secretly very caring about everyone around her, even those who have hurt her. She is silent and doesn't speak out because she doesn't want anyone to worry about her and cause anyone trouble. She is also very observant, absorbing all the information that comes in from those around her. To put it in a nutshell, she is the one shy kid that you think knows nothing about the things going on around her but knows every little detail about it.

When someone does approach her, she tends to be very flustered, mumbling and suddenly yelling with her cheeks flushed pink. She is not a people person, thus making her very awkward in situations involving other people. She also cannot stay focused on one thing, rambling about multiple things at the same time and leaving some facts hanging, not even finishing them, making her seem a little unorganized -- which she isn't.

Hikaru, despite being a very quiet character towards most, is actually a very active and happy plumerian. She only acts like herself around those she truly knows the most. When she is around those people, she is jumpy and playful, playing pranks on EVERYONE around her. She also has a very quick mood changing sort of thing, like flicking a light switch up and down over and over again. Happy to sad, mad to happy, it's just a constant cycle, it's never stable. 

Hikaru is a complicated character in the beginning, but when you get to know her, she is full heartedly one of the best people you could meet. She'll always make you smile even in the worst of times, or at least make you forget whatever pain one may be in for a little bit of time.
